Wildlife Photography is a classic photography portfolio website built entirely with raw hand-written frontend code. Using HTML, CSS and Sass (no UI frameworks), it presents a cinematic wildlife photographer brand with gallery grids, blog posts, about and contact sections — fully responsive across devices.

Problem
Building a polished photography site without frameworks meant every layout and responsive rule had to be written by hand.
Solution
Structured clean HTML semantics and organized Sass partials for layout, components and responsive mixins to keep styles maintainable.
Problem
Large photography images can dominate the page and break gallery alignment on smaller screens.
Solution
Used flexible CSS/Sass grid techniques and responsive image sizing so gallery cards stay balanced from desktop to mobile.
Problem
Hero slider and multi-section landing pages needed clear hierarchy without a component library.
Solution
Hand-crafted navigation, typography scale and spacing system in Sass so the wildlife branding stayed consistent across pages.

Ensuring the whole site stayed fully responsive with raw CSS only.

Wrote mobile-first media queries in Sass and tested hamburger navigation, gallery and blog layouts across common device widths.
